The City of Morenci, through its contractor – T & R Total Lawn Care – will begin curbside brush pickup the week of March 1, 2016, and then on the Monday of each week thereafter. Curbside brush pickup will be each Monday of the week throughout the year.
To make brush pickup easy, the City of Morenci is asking that you follow the following guidelines:
- No bundling of brush.
- Brush should be placed only on the curb of the boulevard of the street. Do not place brush in the road.
- Brush should be free of foreign objects. If such are found in brush piles, brush piles will be left with the homeowner responsible for disposing of such piles.
- Brush should be kept to six (6) inches in diameter and six (6) feet in length. Brush larger than this will not be picked up, and will be left to the responsibility of the homeowner.
- Brush should be piled at least 20 feet away from a fire hydrant.
Curbside brush pickup will begin at 8 a.m. each Monday. If brush is placed out after 8 a.m. on a Monday, then it will not be picked up that week.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding brush piles, you are encouraged to contact the City of Morenci at (517) 458 – 6828.
