The Morenci Fire Department has announced the promotion of Captains Colin Richardson and Timothy Schisler to Assistant Fire Chief, effective September 1.
In their new roles, Richardson and Schisler will help oversee the department’s training program and take on additional leadership responsibilities. Richardson will serve as C-2 and Schisler as C-3.
The promotions come as longtime Assistant Fire Chief Chad Schisler prepares to step down from his leadership position on September 4. Chad will remain an active member of the Morenci Fire Department, where his experience and knowledge will continue to be a valued resource. He has served as either Fire Chief or Assistant Fire Chief for more than 30 years.
The City of Morenci congratulates Colin and Timothy as they step into their new roles and thanks Chad for his many years of dedicated leadership and service to the department and the Morenci community.
