Morenci Sportsman Club

Morenci Sportsman Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing nature and the great outdoors to the youth of our community, encouraging sportsmanship and resource conservation. Morenci Sportsman Club currently donates over $5,000 annually to youth programs, including $500 scholarships to two Morenci students, two Sand Creek students, and one student from Waldron each year. The Sportsman Club also subscribes to Tracks Magazine for Morenci, Sand Creek and Waldron. They offer grants to Michigan United Conservation Club "Camps For Kids." Morenci Sportsman Club is a sponsor for area Little League baseball and softball programs as well as other community initiatives.

Meetings

The Club meets on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m.

Membership Opportunity

Morenci Sportsman Club is seeking members who enjoy working at events and being around fellow sportsmen. Prospective members must attend two meetings and declare intention of joining before being voted on by members at the second meeting. Yearly dues apply.
