The Morenci Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is pleased to announce the successful completion of projects by two downtown businesses, both recipients of DDA Façade Grants.
Janie's His & Hers Salon received $4,234.50 for the installation of new exterior windows and doors, as well as painting the cornice and trim. The transformation is stunning, adding even more charm to our historic downtown district.
Subway received $2,338.37 to support the installation of new outdoor signage. This addition to the downtown scene is a glimpse into the major transformation that took place inside. Their fresh look is a fantastic enhancement to our downtown streetscape.
The DDA takes pride in supporting local businesses and business owners, contributing to the integrity and vitality of Morenci's historic buildings. These improvements are a testament to the dedication and hard work of the business owners, enhancing the vibrancy and appeal of downtown for residents and visitors alike.
The DDA Façade Improvement Program is designed to enhance the physical appearance, historical character, and structural integrity of downtown buildings. This reimbursement program covers a range of improvements, including exterior awnings, lighting, painting, signage, window and door replacement, and masonry work.
