If the student drawn hasn’t had any discipline issues, tardies or absences that week, their name will be announced over the PA and they get to choose a prize! All middle school baseball and softball games and practices for this evening have been canceled.
The varsity baseball game has also been canceled, but they will practice at 3:30 in the high school gym.

Morenci Area Schools has contracted with MLI (Michigan Leadership Institute) to assist with the Superintendent Search. Mr. Charles Andrews, from MLI, will be in the district on Wednesday, May 4th to meet with our staff and community. The purpose is to gather information from a wide variety of stakeholders on the qualities, characteristics, background and experiences desired for the next Superintendent. An open community forum will be tomorrow, May 4th at 5:00 p.m. in the middle school library followed by a special board meeting at 6:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
