Middle sports kick off with their first practice tomorrow, August 22nd. 7th & 8th grade Volleyball practice will be from 1:00-3:00 pm in the middle school gym. 6th-8th grade cross country practice will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on the practice football field. 6th-8th grade sideline cheer will practice from 3-5 pm in the high school cafeteria. 7th & 8th grade football will have their first practice on Monday, August 29th.
Please join the Morenci Community on Wednesday, August 17th from 6:00-8:00 PM in downtown Morenci. Come play games, pick up free school supplies, shop local vendors, and enjoy food made by Morenci Schools cafeteria staff. There will be booths showcasing school clubs and teams, Morenci Fire & Police Department vehicles to check out, and a dunk tank featuring prominent members of the school and city. This collaborative event for kids of all ages is brought to you by Seneca Community Church, City of Morenci, Morenci Area Schools, and Kiwanis of Morenci.
