A random student from the high school and one middle school will be drawn at the end of each week. If the student drawn hasn’t had any discipline issues, tardies or absences that week, their name will be announced over the PA and they get to choose a prize! Morenci’s Credit Recovery Policy: Credit recovery is designed to allow students an opportunity to make up lost credits in an effort to complete graduation requirements. Currently, the online program of Plato, is used for this purpose. Students may ask to sign up for credit recovery at any time, however. All final cumulative exams must be taken at the school under the supervision of school personnel and must be passed in order to receive credit for the course. All summer work must be completed and the cumulative exam taken by Tuesday, August 16, 2022. If the course is not completed within the timeframe, it will be disabled and no grade will be reported on the transcript. Reminder: tomorrow is a half day of school, with dismissal at 11:30 AM, and there is no school on Monday so that we can all observe Memorial Day.
